Domodedovo in “Best in Profession” Final
Victoria Zernova, a transport security inspector at Domodedovo International Airport, took second place in the final of the All‑Russian Professional Skills Competition “Best in Profession” in the “Transport Security Inspector” category.
The final stage of the federal competition was held in Moscow from October 8 to 9. All participants in the tests are winners of the regional stages of the “Best in Profession” selection, as well as winners of industry‑specific professional skills championships from various regions of Russia. The participants’ age ranges from 23 to 56 years.
Victoria has been working at Domodedovo Airport for more than three years; this is her first job after graduating from Moskovia Professional College in Domodedovo (town) with a degree in “Transport Service.” Victoria started her career in the passenger screening and profiling department. On June 10 this year, Victoria became the winner of the regional stage of the All‑Russian Professional Skills Competition “Best in Profession,” which was held in the Moscow Region.
Inspectors in the field of transport security from various regions of Russia competed both in theory and in practice. As part of the practical component, they completed 5 tasks, including conducting inspections and detecting items prohibited for transportation in luggage and carry‑on items using inspection equipment.
The All‑Russian sectoral association of employers “Association of Employers of Non‑Street Transport in Russia” initiated and organized the federal stage among transport security inspectors.
The winners of the federal stages of the competition will be awarded in Moscow in December and will receive monetary incentives.
Since 2025, the All‑Russian professional skills competition “Best in Profession” has become part of the “Personnel” national project and is held in two stages: regional and federal.
